Hello good folks!
I'm from Austria and a soon-to-be Niro owner (this coming week if all works well). When visiting Sweden I saw that cars have an option to plug-in for extra preheater to the motor/cabin. You never see this here in Austria, even though some days temps are quite low as well - of course nothing in comparison to Sweden
So, my question is - does it help the Niro in terms of fuel consumption in winter? or is it more of a comfort thing for the cabin?
I could get it installed this summer, when I'll be in Sweden with the Niro.
Thanks for your insights!

Re: Should I get a preheater?
2It does help fuel consumption a bit, you won't quite have the same cold start, but it's mostly a comfort thing to have a warm cabin at the start of your journey.
